If you’re looking for summer holiday activities for kids, join us each week as we upload a free recipe and fun downloadable activity to make this summer holiday a great one!
If there is one thing we love here at Honeywell HQ it is baking. This week we’re diving into homemade chocolate chip cookies with a gooey recipe (below), championing our favourite baking kit for kids to try - the Beehive Scone Baking Kit, and creating bee bookmarks to save our favourite baking recipes.
One of our easiest baking kits for kids is the Beehive Scones.
Kids can have fun mixing ingredients, patting down soft dough and cutting out circles to create their scones, a great bake to nurture a love of baking.
Every kit includes a packet of wildflower seeds to grow at home, so the bees can have their very own delicious feast too!
90g Salted Butter, softened
70g Soft Light Brown Sugar
90g Granulated Sugar
1 Medium Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
160g Self-raising Flour
100g Bake Stable Milk Chocolate Chunks
Never forget where your favourite recipes are with these super cute (and easy) bumble bee bookmarks. Once you’ve mastered making them, you can reuse any scrap paper to create an entire beehive of bookmarks. Old newspapers, magazines or wrapping paper work perfectly!
