Christmas Gifting Questions

When should I start their subscription?

For Christmas gifts, we recommend January: they can enjoy their welcome pack over Christmas, with their subscription beginning in the new year.

What’s inside the welcome pack?

A best selling baking box (relevant to your chosen subscription) and an information card showing which subscription they’ve been gifted and for how long. It also includes a free personalised note card, with optional gift wrap available.

Is the welcome pack included automatically?

No, it’s an optional extra. Add it on the subscription product page when choosing their gift.

When will the welcome pack be sent?

We’ll send it straight away, separately from the subscription boxes. All baking kits have a 6 month shelf life, so it will last well into the new year.

Can I receive the welcome pack and send the subscription to someone else?

Yes. Enter your own shipping address at checkout so the welcome pack comes to you.

After ordering, open your subscription portal and change the subscription delivery address to the recipient’s address. Please do this before 1st January.

Can I send everything directly to the recipient?

Yes; enter their shipping address at checkout. The welcome pack will be sent straight away, and their subscription will begin on your selected start date.

What will be in the box each month?

Each month the bake is a surprise! We pride ourselves on seasonal bakes that you will love to bake and eat.

Will they have to add in fresh ingredients?

We send all of the pre-weighed dry ingredients, so they just need to add in a few fresh bits such as butter and eggs. We ensure that added ingredients are easy to source and seasonal if relevant.

Can you cater to dietary requirements?

We pack nuts, gluten and other allergens in the bakery every day, and unfortunately cannot cater to dietary requirements with our subscriptions. We do have a selection of vegan baking kits, and the macaron kits are naturally non-gluten containing.

Do they need specialist equipment?

Our recipes usually require standard baking equipment such as a muffin tin, loaf tin or baking tray. The subscription box may contain cookie cutters, piping tips or other equipment depending on the recipe.

Do they need to be in when my subscription arrives?

The recipe boxes will fit through a standard letterbox, so they don’t need to be in.
