We made a wedding cake! This is our first attempt at a wedding cake, so we were pleased our sister choose a rustic looking cake for her wedding last weekend.
It’s Victoria sponge sandwiched with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. We then added strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants and blackberries as well as a few roses. A dusting of icing sugar topped it off!
We put it on a log cake stand to complete the rustic look.
It must have tasted ok – there’s none left!
